3DFin: a software for 3D Forest Inventory in Terrestrial Point Clouds

3DFin is a novel software program designed for easy, automatic forest inventories based on terrestrial point clouds. 3DFin empowers users to automatically compute key forest inventory parameters, including tree Total Height (TH), Diameter at Breast Height (DBH), and tree location. To enhance its user-friendliness, the program is cross-platform, available as a plugin in CloudCompare and QGIS and as a standalone in Windows.
