The CoMotion Dance Project has launched its fourth season for “Fire Speaks the Land,” an interactive dance performance that teaches children about wildland fire in the northern Rocky Mountains. The program was developed by Karen Kaufmann, artistic director of CoMotion Dance Project and professor of dance at the University of Montana, with guidance on scientific content from Jane Kapler Smith, lead author of the FireWorks educational program.
